How it works

Five steps. Two minutes. Done.

Most compliance bookings on RiskSorted take less time than a cup of tea. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you arrive on a service page to the moment your certificate lands in your account.

01

Pick your service

Eight services, all with published prices: fire risk assessment, health & safety risk assessment, legionella risk assessment, EICR, PAT testing, emergency lighting testing, fire alarm servicing and fire extinguisher servicing. Book as many as you need in one order — we coordinate the scheduling between them.

Each service page shows the legal basis, what's included, what you receive and the standard the work is done to.

02

Answer a few easy questions

Your postcode, then only what that service needs: what kind of place it is, how many floors, roughly how many appliances or circuits, whether anyone sleeps there. Nothing you'd have to look up.

The price comes back immediately, ex VAT and with VAT. For the fire risk assessment it is fixed at that point — no survey, no call-back. For the health & safety and legionella assessments we confirm it after reviewing what you told us, and you can cancel for a full refund if it changes.

03

Tell us what won't work

We don't ask you to pick a date — we assign a local specialist first, then confirm the date with you, normally within one working day. What we ask now is anything that won't work: half-day closing, a kitchen that can't be down at lunchtime, no weekends, notice your tenants need. And any deadline you're working to, like an insurance renewal.

04

Choose auto-renewal

Most compliance services repeat. Tick auto-renewal and you save 5% today and 5% on the renewal. It works by keeping your card on file with Stripe so the renewal can be booked when it's due — we email you before it's booked and before anything is charged, and you can switch it off in your account once your first job is complete.

05

Pay by card, then we take it from there

Stripe checkout — we never see your card number. Your confirmation email arrives straight away with your order reference and a sign-in link to your account. We assign the specialist, confirm the date with you, and they attend. The report or certificate goes into your account within 14 days of the visit — or 10% of that service's price back — and the next due date is set so it doesn't creep up on you.

The platform behind it

Why our certificates outlast our engineers.

Every job booked through RiskSorted is recorded in your RiskSorted account — not the engineer's spreadsheet, not their email signature, not a paper certificate that lives in a filing cabinet.

Verified before first job

Every engineer's qualifications, registrations and insurance certificates are uploaded, checked and stored in our system before they take on their first booking. Auto-suspension on lapse.

Digital certificate library

Every certificate from every job stored in your account. Search by site, service or year. Share via secure link with insurers, landlords or auditors.

Renewal calendar

Every booked service is added to your compliance calendar with the next due date. We remind you before it's due, and before anything is charged if you've chosen auto-renewal.

Multi-site dashboard

For landlords, FMs and chains: every site, every service, every certificate in one view. Filter by location, service type or compliance status. Built for portfolios.

Local-to-job matching

Engineers assigned by postcode proximity, not national despatch. Lower carbon, faster scheduling, real local knowledge — and engineers earn more without losing time on the road.

7-day engineer payment

Our specialists are paid within 7 days of the certificate being issued. The reason they stay with us, the reason they show up on time, and the reason they take care of your site.

Try it. Two minutes.

Pick a service, see the price, decide if you want to book. We'll never ask for your card unless you've decided.
