Local engineers, the length of the country.

RiskSorted operates as a marketplace of independent UK compliance engineers — sole traders, partnerships and small regional firms. We match jobs to engineers by postcode proximity and verified competence. The network covers nine regional areas with live engineers ready to book today, each with regulatory framing appropriate to the part of the UK you're in.

Why local matters for compliance

Compliance work isn't environmentally neutral — every job involves an engineer driving to your site, often in a van, often in traffic. The "local engineer to local job" model isn't marketing language; it's an operational discipline. RiskSorted's average engineer-to-site distance is under 25 miles. We don't run a national despatch model where the same engineer drives 80 miles to your site.

Local also means regulatory accuracy. Scotland follows the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, not the RRFSO 2005. Wales has devolved Building Regulations and Welsh-language fire safety information requirements. London has the most active Fire and Rescue enforcement authority in the UK. Manchester's high-rise residential market is the largest outside London. A national template misses all of this. Our regional engineers don't.

Every booking through RiskSorted supports a UK sole trader or small SME compliance business — not a national franchise. Compliance spend stays in the UK communities where the work is done.
